Headlights or Sunglasses

This should be the new rule:  Headlights or Sunglasses – one should be on at all times while you are driving.  It’s a good guideline.

If your headlights are not on, you should be wearing sunglasses.  If you lost yours or forgot them somewhere, you can squint, we’ll let it slide.  If your sunglasses are not required, TURN ON YOUR HEADLIGHTS!  I don’t want to hear about how well you can see no matter what time of day it is or whether it’s raining or not.  It isn’t about YOU.  It’s about me – me and the other thousand people you may meet on the street.  Both pedestrians and drivers can see YOU better when you have your headlights on, so TURN THEM ON!

And if I flick my headlights on and off at you….hellO!  I’m telling you one of three things – “Hey!  Looks like you should have your headlights on, buddy!” or “Danger ahead!” or “Psst….there is a speed trap ahead – beware!”

Yeah…this is getting a little “venty”.  Sorry.

But – to reiterate:  Headlights or Sunglasses – one of them should be on at all times while you are driving.  Thank you.

I agree!!! Drives me nuts when I can’t see a car because they don’t have their lights on. It is safer all the way around. 🙂

Never thought about it that way, but it makes sense. The past week we’ve had some VERY foggy days here on our mountain.

So, darlin’, when are we going to get together to catch up? Sending hugs.
